Senior Ambition: To marry Rog and be a good homemaker.

I graduated from The University of Akron, married Dan, and adopted my two beautiful children.

Still living in Tallmadge and see lots of old classmates with their children. It's kind of weird to see mini versions of classmates running around. I swear, Jay West's boy is a clone.

School Story:

The bus rides for softball were always the best (as long as we won the game). I swear I lost my voice after each ride by singing and screaming. I'm sure all the girls remember listening to the Violent Femmes, NWA, etc. It's a wonder we didn't all weigh 50 pounds more with Grandma Poff's peanut butter fudge. YUM!
The season was long, and practices could be the pits (from snow to deathly hot) but now they seem like fun. These days, I'd take one of our worst practices versus a good day of work.
I'll never forget complaining in the gym about doing push ups and jogging around the halls. Duffy said "One day you'll have to pay big money for this kind of exercise". Now, he's right -- I hate paying that Rec Center fee!
Besides softball, I remember a lot of weekends driving everyone around in the "Hilkster Mobile". Dang, that car was ugly -- but it held a lot of people. I think we got 10 in there one night.
Staying at Missy's house on the weekend was always a blast, too. Missy didn't have a curfew, so we took advantage of that. Missy even had her own phone line. For god's sake -- wasn't that phone always busy?!
I really enjoyed my school years. I don't know why I was so eager to grow up. But, I realize in my older age to appreciate everyone and enjoy the good times. Can't wait to see all the classmates at the reunion!

Do you plan on attending the class reunion?

Yes

A rare moment when my kids (Ashton age 12, Adam age 8) are getting along.
